Job summary

Kennedy Reid Pty is seeking an SME Insurance Broker to manage the internal broking lifecycle for a portfolio of SME commercial accounts, acting as the primary contact for clients, insurers and external account executives.

Key responsibilities include renewals, quotations, policy adjustments and negotiation of terms. This role requires Tier 1 compliance and strong knowledge of commercial lines, with flexible hybrid/remote working options.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in general insurance broking, specifically handling SME commercial accounts.
• Mandatory Tier 1 compliance (e.g., RG146 / Tier 1 qualification).
• Solid knowledge of commercial lines (Property, Liability, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Manage SME renewals, quotations, and policy adjustments end-to-end.

• Ensure strict adherence to Tier 1 compliance, policy documentation, and quality standards.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to drive retention and growth.

What We Are Looking For

• Proven experience in general insurance broking, specifically handling SME commercial accounts.
• Mandatory Tier 1 compliance (e.g., RG146 / Tier 1 qualification).
• Solid product knowledge across commercial lines (Property, Liability, etc.).
• Strong communication, negotiation, and organisational skills with high attention to detail.
