Barry Nilsson invites an Associate to join the Insurance & Health practice in Sydney. You will work on personal injury, property damage, and historical institutional liability claims, collaborating with a team headed by principals who support your career progression.

The role suits lawyers with 2–4 years in defendant insurance and litigation, who thrive on building client relationships, solving problems, and delivering excellent outcomes in a collaborative environment.

About the Role

An engaging opportunity awaits you as an Associate in our insurance team in Sydney. We have rewarding work on offer in the public liability and general insurance space, focusing on personal injury, property damage and historical institutional liability claims. You'll collaborate with a team of specialists in their field headed up by Nick Bell, Nick Andrew and Stephanie Carter- principals who are committed to empowering you and your career progression.

About You

If the following sounds like you, we would love to hear from you:

• you have 2-4 years of experience in the defendant insurance and litigation space, particularly within the liability area;
• you can efficiently manage your own file load;
• you enjoy building client relationships and achieving excellent outcomes;
• you are a problem-solver who values collaboration and understands the importance of strong working relationships.
