The Position
  • Responsible for processing, autoclaving and distributing sterile supplies to all internal and external customers.

  • Communicate effectively with all customers and patients using the appropriate channels, utilising appropriate formal and informal channels of communication.
  • Participate in, contribute to and implement quality improvement and risk management into all aspects of service.

We are seeking candidates with a minimum of six months’ experience as an Instrument Technician who are willing to undertake training to achieve a Certificate III in Sterilisation Services. Successful completion of the qualification will result in automatic progression to Grade 3.

To be successful in this role, you will have a current understanding of legislation and standards relating to Work Health and Safety (WHS/OHS), compliance requirements, infection prevention and control, and WorkCover, along with effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Above all, patient care will be at the core of everything you do committing to and supporting our Mission and Values.
