Job summary

The Blind Factory in Sydney is seeking an experienced Installations Manager to lead our installation operations. This hands-on leadership role requires coordinating with Sales, Customer Service and Installation teams to plan and deliver every job safely and to a high standard.

You will own end-to-end installations, manage schedules, provide technical support, and drive improvements while ensuring OH&S compliance. A current driver’s licence and strong people skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end management of installations, from sales handover through to completion.
• Lead, support and develop installation teams to ensure jobs are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high-quality standard.
• Provide technical support to the Sales team and ensure products are correctly scoped and installation-ready.
• Manage daily scheduling, workflow and resources to ensure installations are completed on time.
• Identify and implement continuous process improvements across the installation operation.
• Ensure full compliance with OH&S requirements and relevant industry regulations.
• Coordinate procurement, equipment and materials to ensure upcoming installations are fully prepared.
• Assist with recruitment, staff KPIs, performance management and regular performance reviews.
• Maintain a well-organised and efficient warehouse and installation operation.
• Build strong communication and coordination between Sales, Customer Service, Service and Installation, as well as external suppliers and stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot installation issues and provide practical solutions when challenges arise.
• Monitor installation quality and address any issues promptly and professionally.

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Installations Manager to join our Sydney team and take ownership of our installation operations.

The Role

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll play a key part in keeping our installation department organised, efficient and running smoothly. You’ll work closely with Sales, Customer Service and Installation teams to ensure every job is well planned, safely delivered and completed to the highest standard.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and confident leading a team. You’ll be someone who takes ownership, enjoys solving problems and isn’t afraid to get involved when needed.

Ideally, you will have:

Experience in a management or supervisory role, preferably within the window furnishings, construction, building or related industry.
