Job summary

Rosebud Secondary College in Victoria seeks a qualified classroom teacher to contribute to high expectations and student learning across Years 7–12. You will design engaging programs, deliver explicit instruction, and use data to drive improvements in literacy, numeracy and wellbeing.

You will collaborate with colleagues, engage families, assume a range of responsibilities, participate in school-wide initiatives, and support inclusive, safe learning environments aligned with Department values.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy skills.
• Experience planning and implementing high impact teaching strategies.
• Experience monitoring student learning and using data to inform practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with families and colleagues.
• Commitment to reflecting on practice and engaging in professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students.
• Develop, implement and evaluate curriculum programs within the school.
• Undertake other classroom teaching related duties as directed.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings, camps and excursions.
• Undertake supervisory duties as required.
