Job summary

Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the curriculum and ability to address diverse learner needs.
• Experience planning high-impact teaching strategies and evaluating student learning growth.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and providing feedback to students and parents.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills and ability to collaborate with students, families and colleagues.
• Commitment to ongoing professional learning aligned with department values.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups and individual students within allocated programs.
• Contribute to curriculum development and evaluation within the school.
• Engage in parent/teacher meetings and school activities as required.
• Mentor student teachers where appropriate.
• Use student data to inform teaching approaches and improve learning outcomes.
