Job summary

St Paul’s Grammar School in Sydney’s Greater West seeks a Junior School PE Teacher and Sport Coordinator to deliver high-quality physical education and coordinate all school sport in the Junior School. You will manage sporting events, liaise with external providers, and promote student participation in co-curricular activities.

The successful applicant will hold a degree, NSW NESA accreditation, and a passion for PE that inspires confidence, teamwork and sportsmanship.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in PDHPE or related field.
• Accreditation to teach with NSW NESA.
• Understanding of the NSW NESA syllabus, especially PDHPE.
• ICT integration into teaching and learning.
• Well organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Passion for Physical Education and sport to inspire students.
• Professional, collaborative team member.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Current Working with Children Check (WWCC).
• Membership of a local Christian church or community.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality physical education in the Junior School.
• Coordinate all aspects of school sport and events.
• Liaise with external providers for sporting activities.
• Promote student participation in co-curricular activities.
• Collaborate with the Secondary School Sport Coordinator.
