Qualifications

• Demonstrated knowledge of the relevant curriculum and ability to teach literacy and numeracy.
• Experience planning and implementing high impact teaching strategies.
• Experience monitoring and assessing student learning and using data to inform practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with students, parents and staff.
• Engagement in reflective practice and ongoing professional learning.

Responsibilities

• Direct teaching of groups of students and individual learners.
• Contribute to curriculum development and school program evaluation.
• Undertake other teaching-related duties as determined by the principal.
• Participate in parent/teacher meetings, staff meetings and activities.
• Support student learning and wellbeing through collaboration with the school community.
