Job summary

Newman Senior High School seeks a Program Coordinator – Innovations and Industry to lead a significant school-wide initiative connecting classroom learning with real-world workplaces. You will drive pathways for Years 7–12, embedding a career-development culture and expanding opportunities such as work experience and school-based traineeships.

• Demonstrated ability to lead school initiatives and teams.
• Strong collaboration with families, industry and community partners.
• Ability to make decisions informed by evidence and data.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Innovations and Industry program to develop meaningful pathways for students.
• Embed a whole-school career development culture across Years 7–12.
• Develop and monitor Individual Pathway Plans reflecting student interests and strengths.
• Expand workplace learning including work experience, traineeships and apprenticeships.
• Build partnerships with employers, industry, TAFE, and SIDE to broaden opportunities.
• Oversee contracts and reporting for Pilbara Education Partnership.
