The Industry School - formerly AITC is seeking an Acting Industry Engagement Manager at the Redland Campus. This full-time role covers until 11 December 2026, working to connect young people with industries and workplaces, while building sustainable workforce pipelines with local partners.

You will lead the design and delivery of Industry experiences, including the Standard, Academy and Rookies programs, ensuring they are innovative, compliant, and aligned with school policies and regulatory

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience guiding a high-performing team.
• Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Passion for improving education and industry outcomes.
• Experience with quality systems and safety/risk processes.
• Blue Card and driver’s license; ability to travel between sites.

About the role

We are seeking an Acting Industry Engagement Manager to join our Redland Campus on a full-time basis until 11 December 2026, providing coverage for long service leave.

The Industry Engagement Manager plays a pivotal role in connecting young people with industries and workplaces that inspire exploration and purpose, ensuring safe and meaningful workplace learning experiences and building sustainable workforce pipelines with local industry partners.

In this acting role, you will lead the design and delivery of industry experiences, including the Standard, Academy and Rookies programs, ensuring they remain innovative, engaging and responsive to the changing world of work.

As a forward-thinking leader and industry champion, you will be a key member of the Redland School Leadership Team, leading a team of Industry Consultants and contributing to strategic operational decision-making and process improvements. You will also support the delivery of compliant, high-quality industry engagement practices in line with school policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.

About You

To be successful in this role you will bring the following skills and experience:

• Demonstrated experience leading a high-performing team to achieve outcomes and performance targets.
• Highly developed communication, negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and networking skills.
• Passionate about the success of young people and is committed to making a tangible impact in education and industry.
• Experience managing quality systems and processes.
• Knowledge of safety, wellbeing, WHS and risk management processes and practices.
• High-level organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and make decisions independently.
• Strong understanding of confidentiality, privacy, and duty of care requirements.
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
• Current driver's license and ability to travel between sites as required.
• Ability to demonstrate The Industry School values.
• Right to work in Australia.
• Experience in an education or training organisation is highly regarded.
• Qualifications in education, training, business, or a related field (preferred).
