Job summary

Gold Coast Health is seeking an Innovation Lead (Health Information) to drive development of information solutions, design dashboards, and analyze complex health data to enable efficiency gains across the Gold Coast region.

Joining a large, diverse team, you will shape metrics, track benefits, and provide specialist advice on health information practices and data management within a health system context.

Qualifications

• Experience with dashboard & app design, automation tools and data analysis techniques.
• Experience with clinical and patient administration systems such as Hospital Based Clinical Information System (HBCIS), and the integrated Medical Record.
• Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed; Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and design of health information solutions that improve efficiencies, reduce costs and support activity-based funding initiatives.
• Provide high quality analysis of complex health care data to support optimisation and automation opportunities.
• Develop and implement metrics and reporting mechanisms to track benefits and cost savings of each initiative.
• Maintain expertise, provide specialist advice and act as a consultant in the area of health information and data management.
