Job summary

Gold Coast Health is seeking an Innovation Lead (Health Information) to lead the development and design of health information solutions that improve efficiencies, reduce costs and support activity-based funding initiatives.

You will provide high quality analysis of complex health care data, implement metrics and reporting, and act as a specialist advisor in health information and data management to optimise benefits for the Gold Coast region.

Qualifications

• Experience with dashboard & app design, automation tools and data analysis techniques.
• Experience with clinical and patient administration systems such as Hospital Based Clinical Information System (HBCIS), and the integrated Medical Record.
• Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed
• Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and design of health information solutions that improve efficiencies, reduce costs and support activity-based funding initiatives.
• Provide high quality analysis of complex health care data to support optimisation and automation opportunities
• Develop and implement metrics and reporting mechanisms to track benefits and cost savings of each initiative
• Maintain expertise, provide specialist advice and act as a consultant in the area of health information and data management
