Pullman Sydney Hyde Park, part of Accor, seeks a forward-thinking Sous Chef to lead the kitchen and energise the brigade. Located in central Sydney with exposure to Thirty6, 24-hour room service and large events catering.

The role requires hotel kitchen experience, strong food cost control, HACCP knowledge, and the ability to mentor a team. Training and growth opportunities are provided within a supportive Accor environment.

Formación

• Must have previous experience in a similar role in the hotel industry.
• Strong understanding of food cost and control.
• Strong understanding of food safety requirements and HACCP.
• Strong product knowledge of seasonal ingredients.
• Culinary trade qualification.
• Computer & administrative skills.
• Must have full Australian working rights (no sponsorship).
• Available to work flexible rosters and PM shifts.
• Applicants must have full working rights in Australia at application time.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the kitchen with creative energy in the Executive Chef's absence.
• Elevate presentation and flavours with seasonal, locally inspired innovation.
• Co-create and refine menus that balance guest expectations with culinary daring.
• Maintain stock control procedures to minimise wastage.
• Liaise with the hotel regarding changes to menu items.
• Assist the Executive Chef with rostering.
• Cultivate a positive work environment and develop kitchen staff.
