Job summary

Allianz Australia in Brisbane is seeking an Injury Management Specialist to partner with claims operations and treatment providers to design structured injury management strategies that reduce the cost and duration of claims while supporting return to health and work outcomes.

You will mentor teams, deliver training, and build provider relationships across the business, leveraging digital tools to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving landscape, with a focus on inclusive, flexible, hybrid work

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in injury management relating to occupational rehabilitation, claims management and/or return to work.
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or industry accreditation.
• Understanding of regulatory/compliance requirements impacting the organisation.
• Coaching and mentoring experience.
• Demonstrated ability to use clinical reasoning for decision making.
• Passion for leveraging emerging technologies in a digital landscape.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with claims operations and treatment providers to reduce the human and financial costs to Allianz through structured injury management practices.
• Establish and maintain provider management strategies and relationships to enable support to the business.
• Implement injury management strategies to ensure continuous improvement of return to health and work outcomes.
• Design and facilitate training sessions.
• Coach and mentor teams on injury management to reduce duration/cost of claims and support other specialists and managers.
• Ensure timely management of all medical requests and approvals.
