Job summary

CSIRO is seeking an Injury Management Advisor to provide end-to-end case management and rehabilitation support for employees with work-related injuries. You will work closely with employees, leaders and HR to design and manage RTW strategies that promote positive, sustainable outcomes.

As an IMA, you will handle Comcare rehabilitation delegations and help design compliant programs while contributing to CSIRO’s safety culture and employee wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary degree in a related allied health discipline and/or relevant experience in health-related support services.
• Demonstrated experience in workplace rehabilitation and RTW management within large or complex organisations.
• Proven ability to collaborate with HSE staff and key stakeholders to foster a positive safety culture and build strong relationships.
• Experience communicating requirements and providing training to diverse groups.

Responsibilities

• Manage injury and illness cases, providing end-to-end rehabilitation and case management support for CSIRO employees.
• Develop, implement, monitor and review rehabilitation programs and Return to Work plans in partnership with employees and key stakeholders.
• Manage rehabilitation requirements for work-related injuries in accordance with SRC Act and CSIRO policies.
• Provide specialist injury management and rehabilitation advice to employees, leaders and HR, supporting effective RTW outcomes.
• Identify opportunities for early intervention and work with teams to implement strategies that help employees remain safely at work.
• Maintain accurate injury management records and contribute to reporting, reviews and audits.
