Job summary

Timberlink Australia & New Zealand is seeking an Injury Management Advisor for the Tarpeena site, 20 minutes from Mount Gambier. You will manage workers' compensation claims and coordinate return-to-work across SA and other states with insurers and HR support.

The role requires knowledge of the Return-to-Work Act 2014 (SA), strong case management, confidentiality, and a process‑driven approach to injury management and HR programs.

Our fit-for-purpose indoor and outdoor plantation pine products are suitable for building new homes, renovation projects and other industrial manufacturing applications including packaging, pallets, and furniture components.

About the role:

We currently have an opportunity for an Injury Management Advisor to join our team at our Tarpeena manufacturing site, located 20 minutes from Mount Gambier.

Reporting to the Manager, Workplace Relations and Injury Management, this role is responsible for the end-to-end management of workers' compensation claims and return-to-work coordination in South Australia, in accordance with the Return-to-Work Act 2014 (SA).

The role also supports return to work and injury management across the Rest of Business states of Victoria, New South Wales, Queensland and Western Australia, coordinating with HR supporting claims directly with each state insurer under the relevant legislation.

The role will support the development of foundational injury management processes for the Tarpeena site and broader business, covering both work-related and non-work-related illness and injury. In addition, the Injury Management Advisor will contribute to a range of HR programs and initiatives as required.

• Willingness to obtain Return to Work Coordinator training or accreditation for other jurisdictions as required
• Demonstrated experience in workers' compensation claims management and/or return-to-work coordination
• Working knowledge of the Return to Work Act 2014 (SA) and relevant legislative obligations
• Experience working with insurers, occupational rehabilitation providers and medical practitioner
• Experience maintaining case files, return-to-work plans and associated documentation
• A people-focused and process-driven approach, with strong attention to accuracy, compliance and confidentiality
• Effective case management and organisational skill
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• Sound understanding of privacy obligations and confidentiality requirements
