Job summary

The Adecco Group is seeking an Injury Management Specialist to provide on-site support for associates and employees in South Australia. You will coordinate return-to-work plans, liaise with insurers, and ensure compliant injury management practices across branches and customers.

The role requires a strong focus on reducing downtime and claim costs. Ideal candidates have 2+ years in injury management, RTW coordination certification, and SA workers' compensation knowledge.

Qualifications

  • RTW coordination certificate is essential.
  • Cert IV in Personal Injury Management or Cert IV in WHS are essential.
  • Minimum 2+ years of Injury Management experience including return to work and claims management.
  • Strong knowledge of SA Workers' Compensation and Injury Management legislation.

Responsibilities

  • Provide on-ground injury management support by attending appointments.
  • Develop tailored return-to-work plans and coordinate suitable duties.
  • Proactively manage injury outcomes to minimise lost time and claim duration.
  • Collaborate with insurers to minimise claim costs.
  • Accurately calculate and reconcile weekly benefits.
  • Coordinate injury management with Adecco's customers.
  • Ensure suitable duties on customer sites wherever possible.
  • Drive stakeholder compliance with RTW and injury programs.
  • Stay current with legislative changes and codes of practice.

About The Role
  • Provide on the ground injury management support to associates and employees through attending doctor appointments, hospital appointments and other injury monitoring appointments
  • Managing and developing tailored return to work plans for suitable duties where required and coordinating the provision of suitable duties
  • Ensure the most proactive approach to injury management and return to work is taken to minimise lost time injuries and reduce the severity and duration of a claim.
  • Work with the insurer to minimise claim costs wherever possible.
  • Accurate calculations and reconciliation of weekly benefits due.
  • Provide injury management and return to work support in conjunction with Adecco’s customers.
  • Work with customers to ensure injured workers are provided with suitable duties on customer sites whenever possible.
  • Responsible for driving stakeholder compliance with the Adecco Group’s RTW and injury management programs.
  • Keep up to date with current practices in injury management through monitoring legislative changes, standards and codes of practice and ensure compliance within the Group.
About You
  • RTW coordination certificate is essential
  • Relevant industry certification or higher (eg Cert IV in personal injury Management, Cert IV in WHS) is essential
  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in Injury Management including return to work and claim management
  • Expert knowledge of SA Workers Compensation and Injury Management legislation/guidelines. Knowledge of other jurisdictions is desirable.
  • Allied health degree (occupational therapy, rehabilitation counselling, exercise physiology, nursing) is desirable
  • High level of interpersonal, empathy and communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • High level organisation, prioritisation and time management skills
  • Strong negotiation, influencing & diplomatic skills as well as solution driven
