Job summary

LGI Ltd in Queensland seeks an Infrastructure Supervisor to oversee regional landfill gas infrastructure delivery and maintenance across Queensland. The role blends on-site crew leadership with essential administration to keep projects profitable, safe, and on schedule.

You will travel regularly to service LGI assets, coordinating with contractors and clients while mentoring crew and maintaining high safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Proven or emerging leader with crew supervision experience.
• Admin-savvy and highly organized for quoting, cost tracking, and reporting.
• Safety-first mindset with ability to enforce on-site safety and compliance.
• Strong communication skills to explain tasks and negotiate with suppliers.
• Ready to travel regularly as required by operations and hold a valid driver's licence.
• Physically capable of site duties, including uneven terrain and lifting up to 20 kg.

We are seeking an Infrastructure Supervisor to oversee the regional delivery of landfill gas infrastructure and maintenance projects across Queensland. Whether you are an established Supervisor looking for a new challenge in the clean energy space, or an experienced Leading Hand ready to take the next step in your career, this role offers a fantastic opportunity to make your mark.

Crucially, you will be the linchpin balancing on-site crew leadership with the essential administrative work required to keep projects running profitably and efficiently. You will play a key role in ensuring our projects hit the mark safely, on time, and to a high standard.

Please note: This role involves regular domestic and interstate travel to service LGI assets, with the expectation that travel may comprise up to, and potentially all, your working week.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate Project Delivery: Guide the day-to-day delivery of landfill gas infrastructure and maintenance projects, ensuring safe, reliable, and hands-on execution on site.




• Master the Admin: Take charge of the vital paperwork that keeps the job moving. You will be responsible for pricing and quoting works, managing timesheets, submitting daily reports, ordering materials, organising equipment, and accurately tracking project costs.




• Champion Safety & Operational Excellence: Lead by example to ensure adherence to safety, regulatory, and quality standards, maintaining a safe and compliant site for everyone.




• Build Strong Partnerships: Coordinate effectively with contractors, internal teams, and clients to keep projects running smoothly and collaboratively.




• Empower & Mentor Your Crew: Provide on-the-job guidance, constructive feedback, and identify training needs to help your team develop and grow.

About You

• Proven or Emerging Leader: You bring experience as a Supervisor, or you are an experienced Leading Hand with a solid practical understanding of how to run a crew and resolve site issues safely.




• Admin-Savvy & Organised: You are just as comfortable managing paperwork as you are on site. You have the organisational skills to handle quoting, cost tracking, material ordering, and daily reporting efficiently.




• Safety-First Mindset: You spot hazards quickly, take corrective action, and naturally promote a strong safety culture through your daily actions.




• Clear Communicator: You can explain technical tasks clearly to your crew, negotiate with suppliers, and keep management informed of project progress.




• Ready to Move: You hold a valid driver's licence and are fully available to undertake regular travel as required by operations.




• Physically Capable: You have the stamina to perform site-based duties, including navigating uneven terrain, climbing stairs, and safely handling materials up to 20 kg without mechanical aid.
