Job summary

The City of Parramatta is seeking an experienced Group Manager Infrastructure Services to lead the operational heart of Council. You will oversee a multidisciplinary team, manage fleet and plant assets, and provide strategic direction and budget oversight for the business unit.

This role requires strong leadership, stakeholder navigation and a focus on safety and service delivery at scale. Reporting to the Executive Director City Services and Projects, you will ensure delivery across roads,

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering or related discipline with leadership experience.
• Current Class C Drivers Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the operational heart of Council’s infrastructure services, including maintenance of roads, drainage, parks and facilities.
• Oversee fleet and plant assets, budget direction and overall accountability for the business unit.
• Provide executive advice to the City Services leadership team and Councillors, ensuring safe, compliant service delivery at scale.
• Maintain alignment with safety, asset sustainability and high-performing teams across outdoor works.
