Job summary

Port of Melbourne is seeking a proactive Project Support Officer to provide administrative, reporting, document control and project coordination support to the PCEP Infrastructure Delivery Team in Melbourne.

Reporting to a Senior Project Manager, you will work across multiple infrastructure projects with project managers, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate governance, financial administration and timely reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in project administration, coordination or document control within construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement across multidisciplinary teams.
• Proactive, detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Provide administration and coordination support across major infrastructure projects, ensuring project records and documentation are maintained within systems.
• Support project managers with reporting, contract administration, payment processing and governance activities.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas and minutes, monitor deliverables and milestones.
• Identify opportunities to improve project administration processes and controls.
