Programmed is seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer (Mechanical/Civil/Electrical) to support the planning, design and delivery of minor capital projects for a key water authority client across metropolitan Melbourne. You will provide technical engineering expertise, assist with project execution, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering (Electrical or related field) is required.
• Experience delivering minor capital projects in engineering environments.
• Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations and best practices.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with teams and stakeholders.
• Commitment to safety, quality and compliance in engineering activities.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design and execution of minor capital projects, aligned with budget and timelines.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines and budgets; ensure delivery within scope.
• Collaborate with internal teams, contractors and stakeholders for smooth project delivery.
• Monitor progress, ensure adherence to engineering, quality, safety and regulatory standards.
• Identify and manage project risks; resolve issues during execution.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation for accuracy and compliance.
• Assist with integrating engineering tools and digital solutions to streamline delivery and reporting.
