Job summary

AECOM is hiring a Project Manager/Site Engineer to deliver high-quality civil infrastructure projects across the Queensland region. You will own projects from planning and mobilisation through to delivery and close-out, working with leading technical specialists and project professionals.

This role requires strong project management capability, commercial awareness and a collaborative leadership style to achieve outcomes that benefit communities we serve. Hybrid work options apply.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering, recognised by Engineers Australia.
• Experience delivering civil infrastructure projects (roads/bridges/transport).
• Experience in development, construction delivery and contract administration.
• Understanding of civil construction methods, road/bridge design and materials.
• Experience managing budgets, programs, resources, risks and commercial outcomes.
• Familiarity with contract forms such as AS 2124, AS 4300, D&C or Alliance desirable.
• RPEQ registration or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and delivery of civil infrastructure projects, ensuring safety, time, budget and quality.
• Provide strong project leadership across the lifecycle, from planning through to close-out.
• Work with clients, contractors and internal teams to establish objectives and drive delivery.
• Proactively identify and manage risks, issues, opportunities and dependencies.
• Oversee budgets, forecasting, cash flow, resources and commercial performance.
• Lead project planning and programming aligned with project requirements.
• Manage contracts and commercial relationships, changes and disputes.
• Establish governance, reporting and controls for client confidence.
• Champion health & safety, sustainability and risk management across delivery.
