Job summary

AECOM is recruiting an experienced Project Manager/Site Engineer for civil infrastructure projects in Queensland. You will own projects from planning and mobilisation through to delivery and close-out, collaborating with experts to achieve high-quality outcomes for communities.

You’ll manage budgets, safety, quality and stakeholder expectations, leading multidisciplinary teams and driving continuous improvement in delivery and processes.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline, recognised by Engineers Australia.
• Experience delivering civil infrastructure projects, roads/bridges/transport.
• Experience across development, construction delivery and contract administration.
• Strong understanding of civil construction methods and materials.
• Experience managing budgets, programs, resources and risks.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and delivery of civil infrastructure projects, safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Provide project leadership across the lifecycle from planning to close-out.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors and internal teams to set objectives and drive delivery.
• Identify and manage risks, issues and dependencies to keep projects on track.
• Oversee budgets, forecasting, cash flow and commercial performance to support decisions.
• Lead scheduling, resource planning and procurement aligned to project needs.
• Manage contracts and commercial relationships, including change management and disputes.
• Establish governance, reporting and controls for client confidence.
• Champion safety, sustainability and risk management across delivery.
