Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a seasoned Project Director with infrastructure expertise to lead complex civil projects, with emphasis on ports. You will helm a large multidisciplinary team and serve as the main client liaison to ensure delivery meets or exceeds expectations.

Applicants should have an engineering degree and Chartered status, circa 20+ years in the sector, and a track record in delivering major infrastructure with strong commercial acumen.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree with Chartered status or equivalent.
• 20+ years industry experience.
• Led multidisciplinary design teams for infrastructure projects.
• Proven delivery of complex infrastructure projects.
• Ports projects experience advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide peak leadership to a large multi-discipline team delivering design and engineering services for major civil infrastructure projects.
• Act as the primary interface with the client and manage senior client relationships to meet or exceed expectations.
• Develop and manage project programme and secure stakeholder buy-in.
• Maintain robust financial and project controls for monitoring, forecasting and delivery.
• Drive productivity by improving processes, procedures and systems.
• Oversee commercial aspects including contracts, invoicing and debt.
