Qualifications

• Engineering degree with Chartered status or equivalent accreditation.
• Approximately 20+ years of industry experience.
• Leadership of multidisciplinary design teams for infrastructure projects.
• Proven delivery of complex infrastructure projects.
• Strong technical and commercial skills with opportunity securing ability.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Experience managing large project teams.
• Ports project delivery experience is advantageous but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide peak leadership to a large multi-discipline team delivering design & engineering services for major civil infrastructure projects.
• Act as the interface between the project team and the client to meet and exceed expectations.
• Communicate project strategy, brief and client requirements to all team members.
• Develop and manage the project programme with stakeholder buy-in.
• Maintain financial and project controls for monitoring, forecasting and modifications.
• Drive productivity through improved processes, procedures and systems.
• Oversee commercial aspects including contract, invoicing, debt, and client management.
• Monitor and manage resources, sub-consultants and contractors.
• Ensure compliance of engineering work with Arcadis and client standards.
• Identify and manage project risks to avoid adverse impacts.
• Promote client care and pursue maximum client satisfaction.
• Perfom performance reviews and develop team members; ensure health, safety and development.
