Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a senior Urban Development Engineer to lead technical delivery on major SE Queensland projects. You will guide teams, drive design excellence, and ensure client value while expanding Arcadis’ footprint in urban regeneration and energy transition projects.

You are a Chartered or registered engineer with 15+ years of experience, excellent leadership, and a proven track record in consulting environments.

Qualifications

• Chartered or registered engineer with passion for urban development.
• Proven leadership of technical and drafting teams.
• Extensive experience in urban development and regeneration design management.
• Strong communication and relationship-building with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Take a key leadership role in urban development projects, providing technical advice and direction.
• Deliver consultancy services with innovative solutions beyond standard codes.
• Mentor staff and support chartered institution membership.
• Establish and maintain strong client relationships throughout project delivery.
• Lead integrated design programmes, ensuring on-time, on-budget outcomes.
• Oversee risk mitigation, safety, and value in the design process.
