Job summary

Halcyon Knights is seeking an experienced Procurement Advisor to support end-to-end procurement services for major infrastructure projects on the Gold Coast. The role focuses on planning, sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, contract establishment, and contract management within a governance framework.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end procurement and contract management.
• Strong knowledge of procurement principles, governance frameworks, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills.
• Well-developed analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation abilities.
• Experience providing procurement advice within a complex organisational environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• The ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver quality outcomes within tight timeframes.
• A proactive approach to continuous improvement and customer service.
• Current Queensland Class C Driver's Licence (or equivalent).
• Ability to successfully undergo pre-employment screening, including a criminal history check.
• Full Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Managing end-to-end procurement activities, including planning, sourcing, evaluation, negotiation, contract establishment, and contract management.
• Providing timely, accurate, and practical procurement advice to internal stakeholders.
• Supporting business units with procurement strategy development and implementation.
• Monitoring procurement performance and delivering reporting and analysis to support informed decision-making.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Identifying and implementing process improvement initiatives to streamline procurement practices.
• Providing guidance, coaching, and support to team members where required.
• Ensuring procurement activities align with organisational policies, governance requirements, and Workplace Health and Safety obligations.
• Collaborating with procurement colleagues and subject matter experts to enhance local procurement practices and capabilities.
