Job summary

Apunipima Cape York Health Council in Cairns invites applications for an Infrastructure and Maintenance Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Infrastructure and Maintenance Manager and team.

You will coordinate building and fleet maintenance projects, manage asset lifecycles, engage with stakeholders, and help ensure efficient operations across Cape York communities.

Qualifications

• Queensland Drivers Licence (current).
• National Police Check within the last 3 months.
• Certificate III in Business Administration or equivalent experience.

Apunipima Cape York Health Council is a community controlled Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander health service. Servicing the communities of Cape York, with the main office is located in Cairns, Apunipima delivers public health care, and social and emotional well-being programs to community members. This is an exciting opportunity for a Infrastructure and Maintenance Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Infrastructure and Maintenance Manager and Infrastructure and Maintenance Team.

Mandatory Requirements

• Current Blue Card positive notice or exemption, or willing and able to obtain prior to commencement
• Current Queensland Drivers Licence
• National Police Check within the last 3 months or willing and able to obtain prior to commencement
• Certificate III in Business Administration (or equivalent experience)

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Experience in fleet and/or asset management
• Demonstrated experience in coordinating building, fleet maintenance and refurbishment projects, preferably in a healthcare environment
• Demonstrated ability to engage with and build appropriate relationships, internal and external stakeholders, including community groups
• Understanding of building asset and equipment lifecycle management principles and processes
• High level communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to present information to all levels of the organisation in a clear and succinct manner
• Attention to detail with the ability to complete tasks with high degree of accuracy and within agreed timeframes and with a high level of initiative and problem-solving skills
