Apunipima Cape York Health Council, Cairns QLD, is seeking an Infrastructure & Maintenance Administrator to support the Infrastructure and Maintenance Manager and team. The role focuses on coordinating building, fleet maintenance and refurbishment projects within a healthcare setting.

Applicants should have Certificate III in Business Administration, plus experience in fleet/asset management and stakeholder engagement. A blue card, driver's license, and police check are required.

Apunipima Cape York Health Council is a community controlled Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander health service. Servicing the communities of Cape York, with the main office is located in Cairns, Apunipima delivers public health care, and social and emotional well-being programs to community members. This is an exciting opportunity for a Infrastructure and Maintenance Administrator to provide comprehensive administrative support to the Infrastructure and Maintenance Manager and Infrastructure and Maintenance Team.

Pre-employment screening for vaccination against Vaccine Preventable Diseases will be conducted for the successful applicant.

Mandatory Requirements

• Current Blue Card positive notice or exemption, or willing and able to obtain prior to commencement
• Current Queensland Drivers Licence
• National Police Check within the last 3 months or willing and able to obtain prior to commencement
• Certificate III in Business Administration (or equivalent experience)

About You

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Experience in fleet and/or asset management
• Demonstrated experience in coordinating building, fleet maintenance and refurbishment projects, preferably in a healthcare environment
• Demonstrated ability to engage with and build appropriate relationships, internal and external stakeholders, including community groups
• Understanding of building asset and equipment lifecycle management principles and processes
• High level communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to present information to all levels of the organisation in a clear and succinct manner
• Attention to detail with the ability to complete tasks with high degree of accuracy and within agreed timeframes and with a high level of initiative and problem-solving skills
