Job summary

LGT Group in Sydney is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer to join our Technology Services on a 12-month fixed-term contract. You will maintain and support core infrastructure across Windows and Linux servers, Azure and Microsoft 365, Entra ID, file services, networking, backups, monitoring and local data centre environments.

You will also play a key role in automation, scripting, documentation, proactive monitoring and close collaboration with local and group technology teams.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of enterprise infrastructure operations experience, ideally in regulated or financial services.
• Strong Windows Server administration, AD, DNS, DHCP, file services and access controls.
• Hands-on Azure, Microsoft 365 and Entra ID with SaaS integrations (SAML/OIDC/SCIM).
• Solid networking troubleshooting across LAN/WLAN; backup and DR experience.
• PowerShell or Python scripting for automation; strong documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and support core infrastructure across Windows, Linux, Azure, M365, Entra ID, file services, networking, backups and monitoring.
• Administrate access and identity services, including SaaS integrations using SAML, OIDC and SCIM.
• Resolve incidents; provide 2nd/3rd level support for business-critical services; production readiness.
• Support deployments, environment readiness, scheduled jobs and operational handovers.
• Improve reliability through scripting, automation, monitoring and knowledge sharing.
• Collaborate with local, group and senior tech teams on incidents, changes and projects.
