Job summary

PeopleLogic seeks an IT Project Manager for Adelaide to lead complex IT programs and enterprise-scale infrastructure initiatives. The role requires 10+ years’ experience, executive stakeholder management, and proven delivery across multi‑million‑dollar portfolios.

You will orchestrate interdependent workstreams, drive governance, and report to executives on progress, benefits, and outcomes. Experience with large digital transformations and cross‑sector leadership is highly valued.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience leading complex IT programs and enterprise-scale infrastructure initiatives, with a proven track record of delivering strategic business outcomes in large and complex environments.
  • Exceptional executive stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated experience influencing and partnering with C-suite executives, senior leadership teams, and external partners to drive decision-making, alignment, and successful delivery outcomes.
  • Proven leadership of large-scale infrastructure, technology transformation, and enterprise delivery programs, including ownership of multi-million-dollar portfolios with significant organisational impact.
  • Ability to lead and orchestrate multiple concurrent, interdependent workstreams and programs, ensuring effective governance, prioritisation, dependency management, resource alignment, and risk mitigation across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Accountable for end-to-end project delivery, from strategy, business case development, planning, and execution through to operational transition, benefits realisation, and executive reporting.
  • Expert in enterprise delivery management, including the development of integrated master plans, critical path analysis, dependency mapping, financial management, risk and issue governance, and delivery assurance to achieve outcomes on time and within budget.
  • Demonstrated experience establishing and leading program governance frameworks, steering committees, executive forums, and decision-making processes that enable transparency, accountability, and successful delivery outcomes.
  • Strategic partner to Change Management and Communications leaders, ensuring organisational readiness, stakeholder engagement, adoption, and sustainable business transformation outcomes.
  • Proven ability to lead large, multidisciplinary teams, including senior business leaders, technical architects, delivery managers, vendors, analysts, change professionals, and operational stakeholders within complex matrix environments.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and influencing skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and confidently to executive audiences, boards, and senior stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated success in vendor, commercial, and contract management, including managing strategic delivery partners, third-party suppliers, and outsourced service providers.
  • Strong track record of delivering high-quality executive-level artefacts, including business cases, investment proposals, project roadmaps, governance reporting, benefits realisation frameworks, and board papers.
  • Experience leading enterprise-wide digital transformation, infrastructure modernisation, cloud migration, workplace technology, or complex technology uplift initiatives highly regarded.
  • Experience within the Higher Education sector, government, or similarly complex stakeholder environments is highly desirable.
