Job summary

Texture is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the technology infrastructure delivery program in Australia. You will report to the infrastructure program delivery manager and manage end-to-end projects, ensuring quality, cost and schedule adherence.

You will oversee 3–4 projects, applying formal project management methodology to deliver outcomes and collaborating with multiple disciplines to meet deadlines and governance requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years experience in a technology Project Management role.
• Experience delivering Compute, data storage, Networking, End user computing projects [essential].
• Competently skilled with MS Schedule and project cashflow management.
• Highly effective collaboration and communication skills.
• Formal qualifications in IT or other appropriate discipline or equivalent relevant work experience and/or PMBOK or Prince 2 Accredited.
• A strong customer service and work ethic.
• High degree of flexibility and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Good technical knowledge to participate in technical projects.
• Ability to plan and meet deadlines.
• Understanding of IT project management and IT governance requirements.
• Understanding of IT project risk and issue management.

Responsibilities

• Form and lead multi discipline project teams to develop an achievable delivery plan and schedule which will be managed throughout the life of the project.
• Monitor, track and control outcomes to resolve risks, issues, conflicts, dependencies and critical path deliverables.
• Determine procurement engagement approach (if applicable), engage, and manage vendor delivery.
• Monitor and report on progress at regularly scheduled steering meetings.
• Track, manage and report on project financials including budget, forecast and actuals ensuring appropriate cost models are maintained.
• Ensure successful handover to operational teams.

Our client is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its Technology infrastructure delivery program. Reporting to the infrastructure program delivery manager, the project manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of projects within the program including work scheduling, project management of key deliverables and support.

The project manager will deliver projects within the agreed quality, cost and schedule, whilst maintaining project management standards and consistency.

The project manager will be assigned three to four projects, with project management methodology being used to deliver these projects.

What You Bring
