Job summary

The Assistant Director, Information Governance at Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission leads the team responsible for strengthening how the Commission creates, manages, protects, uses, retains and disposes of information. This EL1 leadership role ensures information is treated as a strategic asset and managed in line with legislative expectations.

You will provide practical leadership across information management, recordkeeping, assurance, cyber security, privacy and responsible technology

Qualifications

• Experience leading information governance and records management.
• Knowledge of Archives Act, records authorities and National Archives guidance.
• Ability to provide strategic advice to executives and service owners.

Responsibilities

• Lead information governance frameworks, policies and standards.
• Deliver recordkeeping and information management outcomes.
• Strengthen information stewardship with metadata and lifecycle controls.
• Identify and report information governance risks, and coordinate assurance.
