Responsibilities

• Lead information governance: Develop and improve information governance frameworks, policies, standards, procedures and guidance that align to business outcomes and regulatory responsibilities.
• Deliver recordkeeping and information management outcomes: Support creation, capture, management, retention and disposal of information in line with guidance and authorities.
• Strengthen information stewardship: Improve ownership, classification, metadata, access, handling and lifecycle controls.
• Manage information risk and assurance: Identify, assess, manage and report information governance and privacy risks and coordinate assurance activities.
• Align with cyber security, privacy and ISMS: Embed governance requirements into secure-by-design services and incident response practices.
• Build capability and culture: Provide guidance, education and stakeholder engagement on information management responsibilities.
• Provide strategic advice: Deliver clear, evidence-based guidance to executives on information governance and lifecycle management.
• Lead the team and deliver results: Set priorities, allocate work and manage performance.
