The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission in Brisbane seeks an EL1 Assistant Director, Information Governance to lead governance across information creation, management, security and lifecycle, aligning with regulatory and national archives expectations. Qualifications

Lead information governance frameworks, policies, standards, procedures and guidance.
Deliver recordkeeping and information management outcomes in line with Archives Act and guidance.
Strengthen information stewardship with metadata and lifecycle controls.
Manage information risk and assurance including privacy and emerging tech risks.
Align with cyber security, privacy and ISMS requirements.
Support responsible technology use including AI and automation governance.
Build capability and culture through education and stakeholder engagement.
Provide strategic, evidence-based advice to executives and service owners.
Lead the team, set direction and deliver outcomes while managing risks.
Drive continuous improvement of governance services and controls.

Responsibilities

Lead information governance initiatives and people responsible for information assets.
Oversee proper creation, capture, retention and disposal of information per regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with cyber security, privacy, legal and technology teams to embed governance in services.
