Job summary

The Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission is seeking an Assistant Director, Information Governance to lead the team responsible for strengthening how the Commission creates, manages, protects, uses, retains and disposes of information.

As an EL1 leader in the Digital Group, the role connects information governance with regulatory purpose, digital and data priorities, risk appetite and service outcomes.

Qualifications

• Lead information governance and records management practices.
• Provide strategic advice on information lifecycle and privacy.

Responsibilities

• Lead information governance: develop and improve frameworks, policies and guidance.
• Deliver recordkeeping and information management outcomes per legislation and guidance.
• Strengthen information stewardship with classification, metadata and access controls.
• Manage information risk, assurance, privacy and emerging tech risks.
• Align with cyber security, privacy and ISMS practices.
