Information Communications & Technology Senior Manager

The opportunity: The Information Communications & Technology Senior Manager plays a critical role in leading ICT operations, service continuity, cyber governance and technology service delivery across Alpine Resorts Victoria. With a focus on reliable, secure and responsive ICT services, this position leads operational priorities, winter readiness, escalation pathways, vendor management and ICT risk controls across ARV’s geographically dispersed environment.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced ICT leader who can balance day-to-day service delivery with cyber security, systems reliability and continuous improvement. You’ll provide leadership and guidance to the ICT team, manage key technology suppliers and specialist providers, and partner with business areas to improve service delivery through practical and effective technology solutions.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead ICT operations and service delivery across ARV, ensuring technology services are reliable, secure and aligned with organisational priorities.
• Manage ICT service continuity and operational readiness, including winter readiness, escalation pathways, leave coverage and resource allocation.
• Lead and support the ICT team, setting workload priorities, service standards and supporting capability development.
• Oversee cyber security governance and ICT risk, including VPDSS compliance monitoring, disaster recovery planning, incident readiness and evidentiary record-keeping.
• Manage ICT suppliers and service providers, including technology contracts, vendor performance, licensing arrangements and support agreements.

Skills, experience and qualifications:

• Tertiary qualification in information technology, computer science, information systems, cyber security or a related discipline, or substantial equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated senior ICT management experience encompassing ICT operations, service delivery, systems reliability, cyber governance, infrastructure stewardship and technology improvement.
• Experience managing service continuity, operational readiness, escalation pathways, incident response, disaster recovery planning and cyber security compliance requirements.
• Experience managing ICT suppliers, managed service providers, technology contracts, licensing arrangements and specialist technical services.
• Strong critical thinking, problem-solving and project delivery capability.
• Commercial acumen and experience managing ICT resources, suppliers and service arrangements to achieve value, service continuity and appropriate risk control.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to build effective partnerships with internal users, resort teams, suppliers and service providers.

Where: Flexible across ARV locations, with travel to resorts as required

Tenure: Permanent, full-time

Salary Range: Band 5 $113,022 – 136,747 + Super

• Hold a current Victorian driver licence and be able to travel to ARV resort and office locations as required.
• Satisfactorily complete required pre-employment checks, including reference checks, a National Criminal History check and Working with Children check.
• Complete any additional employment or compliance screenings required for the role.
