Job summary

Alpine Resorts Victoria in Mansfield is seeking a Property & Planning Advisor to shape the future of ARV’s alpine resorts. You will support planning, leasing, land management and compliance across three mountain environments, coordinating projects and preparing high-quality advice for councils, leaseholders and government stakeholders.

You will assess applications, manage priorities with strong judgement, and contribute to policy reviews while collaborating with resort leadership and finance

Qualifications

• Qualification or experience in planning, property, land management, leasing, compliance or related fields.
• Experience providing advice and coordination in a regulated or statutory environment.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to navigate complex issues.
• High-level written communication skills, including reports and correspondence.
• Ability to manage competing priorities with resilience and sound judgement.
• Understanding of public sector context, regulatory frameworks and Crown Land management.

• Assess planning applications, property requests and development proposals.
• Provide clear advice, reports, briefings and recommendations on portfolio matters.
• Coordinate defined projects, consultation activities and stakeholder communications.
• Maintain accurate CouncilWise records, registers and workflow updates.
• Support leasing, licensing and compliance activities across three resort portfolios.
• Work collaboratively with resort leadership, councils, consultants and leaseholders.
• Identify risks, data gaps, overdue actions and compliance issues for escalation.
• Prepare rent and service charge calculations in partnership with Finance.
• Contribute to policy reviews, service standards and continuous improvement.

The Opportunity
The Property & Planning Advisor plays a central role in shaping the future of ARV’s alpine resorts. This dynamic position supports planning, leasing, land management and compliance activities across three unique mountain environments—each with its own challenges, opportunities and community.
You’ll assess applications, coordinate projects, prepare high‑quality advice and reports, and work closely with resort leadership, councils, leaseholders and government stakeholders. Your work will directly influence sustainable development, operational consistency and the protection of Victoria’s alpine landscapes.
