Job summary

Queensland Government is seeking a Custodial Correctional Officer in Brisbane with demonstrated leadership and case management experience in a human services setting. Accreditation and correctional practice certificates are required, with Certificate IV in Correctional Practice as a prerequisite for the supervisor role.

The successful candidate will manage resources, handle problem solving, and liaise with diverse communities to ensure safety, security and wellbeing within custodial facilities.

Qualifications

• Must already be an accredited Custodial Correctional Officer.
• Must possess a current Certificate III in Correctional Practices.
• Certificate IV in Correctional Practice is a prerequisite for appointment to the role of Correctional Supervisor.
