Job summary
Workwear Group in Melbourne seeks an experienced Designer to research, design and develop corporate and industrial brand and uniform ranges. You will translate trends into innovative, production-ready concepts and manage design activities to meet timelines and costs.
The role requires at least three years’ experience, a degree in apparel/fashion or textile design, and strong skills in Illustrator, Photoshop and CAD. Flexible working days are offered within an on-site Port Melbourne setting.
Qualifications
- Three years’ experience in a Designer role.
- Bachelor’s degree in apparel, fashion or textile design.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator/Photoshop) and CAD.
- Strong knowledge of textiles, fibres, yarns and garment construction.
Responsibilities
- Research trends across colour, silhouette, fabrication and trims.
- Translate briefs into commercially viable brand/uniform concepts.
- Create mood boards, design concepts and production-ready packs.
- Develop technical spec drawings using Adobe Suite and CAD.
- Present concepts to internal stakeholders and customers.
