Job summary

Workwear Group in Melbourne is seeking an experienced Designer to translate trend research into production-ready corporate and industrial brand and uniform ranges. You will work under the Design Lead, creating mood boards, technical packs, and concept presentations for internal stakeholders and customers.

The role requires a minimum of three years’ experience, a bachelor’s degree in apparel/fashion/textile design, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and CAD.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of design experience in apparel or textiles.
• Bachelor’s degree in apparel, fashion or textile design.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator/Photoshop and CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Research trends across colour, silhouette, fabrication and garment construction.
• Translate briefs into commercially viable corporate and industrial brand concepts.
• Create mood boards, design concepts, range presentations and production-ready technical packs.
• Develop technical specification drawings using Adobe Creative Suite and CAD.
• Design functional garments aligned with brand and commercial goals.
• Manage design projects against critical-path timelines and present concepts to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technical, sourcing and production teams for testing and compliance.
