Zusammenfassung

Future Generation Joint Venture (FGJV) invites an experienced Industrial Relations Advisor to help resolve disputes and advise on workplace relations policies for FGJV employees and subcontractors. This role requires navigating union entry, industrial incidents, and enterprise agreements across a remote NSW project.

The position demands knowledge of the Fair Work Act, strong communication skills, and the ability to develop policy and training across the project workforce.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar IR role, preferably in construction.
• Knowledge of HR/IR systems and processes.
• Project management experience to plan, implement & manage longer term initiatives.
• Knowledge of the Fair Work Act.
• Ability to interpret contracts, awards and enterprise agreements.

Aufgaben

• Provide IR advice interpreting legislation, awards and enterprise agreements for blue/white-collar workforce.
• Liaise with Payroll on application of industrial instruments and payroll queries.
• Manage union access to site and guide officials.
• Respond to industrial incidents per risk mitigation plans.
• Coordinate subcontractor pre-qualification audits and mobilise personnel.
• Review ABCC compliance for project and subcontractors.
• Deliver IR/HR training and develop policies across the workforce.
• Prepare employment contracts and internal correspondence.
• Ensure compliance and provide guidance on project industrial systems and performance evaluations.
• Identify workplace risks and mitigate strategies.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels and build relationships with project leaders.
