Job summary

Strike Force Services is seeking a casual entry level Industrial Labourer for their Newcastle operation. You will join a hardworking team supporting the safe, efficient operation of the site with a 6:00am to 2:00pm roster and no experience required.

Duties include hands-on labour and dust/coal handling support, with full training provided. We are looking for reliable, safety‑conscious workers who can thrive in a fast-paced industrial setting and work well within a team.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks in an industrial environment.
• Able to work effectively within a team and follow safety procedures.
• Reliable, punctual and capable of practical, manual work.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coal handling or dust control activities as part of weekly roster.

Looking for steady work, great hours and the opportunity to build a long‑term career?

As an Industrial Labourer, you will join a hardworking team of approximately 26 employees supporting the safe and efficient operation of Vales Point Power Station. This is a hands‑on, physically demanding role that is best suited to someone who enjoys being active. Typical rostered hours are 6:00am to 2:00pm.

You will join either our Dust Team or Coal Team, working alongside an experienced crew in a fast‑paced industrial environment. Whether you're managing dust control activities or undertaking physical labouring duties within the coal handling areas, you will play a key role in keeping the site operating safely and efficiently. Cross‑training is provided across both teams, allowing you to develop new skills and gain valuable industry experience.

*For internal purposes, this role is referred to as a Cleaner.
