Job summary

Strike Force Services is seeking casual, entry-level cleaners to service council buildings and facilities across the Tamworth region, with additional sites in Manilla, Nundle and Barraba. The role offers ongoing work with potential to move to permanent part-time or full-time positions.

Full training is provided. A valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are required, and applicants must meet WH&S standards and pass medical/drug testing.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience is preferred but training is provided.
• Be physically able to perform labour-intensive tasks.
• Current driver’s licence and regular access to a vehicle.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of Work, Health & Safety.
• Must pass a full medical including drug and alcohol testing.

Responsibilities

• Clean Council buildings, facilities and precincts across the Tamworth region.
• Service facilities in Manilla, Nundle and Barraba as required.
• Shifts run Monday to Sunday, typically 6am-2pm or 4pm-12am.
• Demonstrate pride and reliability and follow instructions.

The Role

• The role entails commercial cleaning of Council buildings, facilities, and precincts across the Tamworth region. The majority of work will be based in Tamworth, however we also service facilities in Manilla, Nundle and Barraba
• The role offered is casual with the opportunity to move to permanent part-time or full-time positions
• Shift times available spanning Monday through to Sunday, AM and PM - usual times are 6am-2pm OR 4pm-12am
• You will demonstrate pride in your work and reliability as well as have the ability to follow instructions and complete the tasks issued

Your Skills and Experience

• Cleaning experience is preferred but not essential as full training is provided
• Be able to meet the physical demands of a labour-intensive role
• Current driver's licence and must have regular access to a vehicle
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Understanding of Work, Health & Safety
• Be able to complete and pass a full medical including drug and alcohol testing.
