Job summary

Tasty One is seeking an Industrial Engineer to lead manufacturing improvement programs in Melbourne. The role focuses on factory layout optimization, production flow improvement, and productivity initiatives across capital projects and maintenance activities.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years in manufacturing, a degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, and experience in high-volume production or FMCG environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Industrial, Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years' manufacturing experience.
• FMCG, food manufacturing or high-volume production experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in productivity and process improvement.
• Facility layout and workflow optimisation experience.

Responsibilities

• Manufacturing Layout & Design: Review current facility layouts; Improve material flow.
• Operational Improvement: Conduct workflow analysis; Complete time and motion studies; Identify bottlenecks; Increase productivity and throughput; Reduce waste; Improve processes; Drive cost savings; Deliver measurable improvements.
• Capital Projects: Support new equipment installations; Assist with commissioning activities; Improve operational readiness.
• Maintenance & Reliability: Review downtime trends; Support reliability improvements; Participate in root cause analysis.
