Job summary
North East Water is seeking an Electrician in Wodonga to support electrical, automation and SCADA systems across water and wastewater infrastructure. The role offers a full-time, ongoing position with opportunities for learning in industrial control systems and the water industry.

Qualifications
- Current Victorian A Grade Electrical License or ability to obtain through mutual recognition.
- Current Driver’s License.
- Experience in repair, maintenance, design and delivery of industrial control systems in water or process industries.
- Sound computer skills in Word, Excel and Outlook.
Responsibilities
- Breakdown response for electrical and automation equipment.
- Installation and commissioning of new plant and equipment.
- Preventive maintenance tasks.
- Optimising control systems for water and wastewater infrastructure.
- Provide technical support for operational staff and activities.
- Monitoring and maintenance of SCADA and telemetry systems.
- Basic admin tasks including timesheets and electronic work orders.
- Support upgrades, renewals and projects.
- Participation in after hours on-call roster when competent.
