Job summary

Wilmar Sugar Australia Limited is seeking a skilled Electrician for the Inkerman Sugar Mill to deliver hands-on maintenance, installation, and calibration of process control systems. You will work across electrical, instrumentation, and systems engineering environments, supporting capital projects and routine maintenance.

The role requires a qualified tradesperson with industrial experience, a current QLD Electrical Work Licence, and strong fault-finding abilities.

Qualifications

Be a qualified tradesperson with industrial experience.
Hold a current QLD Electrical work licence.
Experience in trouble shooting and fault finding.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work unsupervised or as part of a team.
Be motivated, hardworking, reliable and flexible.

Responsibilities

Provide a maintenance service to Mill departments including planned and unplanned maintenance and capital projects safely and on time.
Install, repair, maintain and test equipment within training level.
Installation, calibration and maintenance of pneumatic, electronic and microprocessor based process control systems hardware and field I/O.
Maintenance of digital and analog process control system programs using appropriate software.
Fault finding of complex process control systems comprising pneumatic, electronic, microprocessor based and mechanical subsystems.
Basic repair and calibration of laboratory and other analytical instrumentation.
