Job summary

Wilmar Sugar Australia Limited is recruiting an Engineering Systems Technician (Electrical) to keep Invicta Mill’s equipment running reliably. You will perform hands-on instrumentation work, troubleshoot complex control systems and lead small projects to improve plant performance.

The role requires a Queensland Electrical License and an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering (or progress towards one). This permanent, full-time position is based at Invicta Mill in Queensland, with day shifts

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrical Mechanic/Instrumentation with a Queensland Electrical License.
• Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or progress towards one is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on, field-based work with instrumentation.
• Diagnose and optimize: examine, troubleshoot and fine-tune interconnected circuit systems to keep operations running.
• Master complex control systems: fault-finding in electrical control systems with pneumatic, electronic, microprocessor-based subsystems.
• Lead special projects: take charge and collaborate on projects that drive innovation and improvement.
• Be a safety champion: actively participate in safety improvement teams.
• Be part of a team that values your expertise in process control systems and networks.

This is a permanent full-time position based at our Invicta Mill which follows a year-round day work roster and may require some weekend work, overtime and shift coverage if needed.
