Job summary

Wilmar Sugar Australia Limited is recruiting an Engineering Systems Technician (Electrical) to keep Invicta Mill’s equipment running reliably. You will perform hands-on instrumentation work, troubleshoot complex control systems and lead small projects to improve plant performance.

The role requires a Queensland Electrical License and an Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering (or progress towards one). This permanent, full-time position is based at Invicta Mill in Queensland, with day shifts

Qualifications

Qualified Electrical Mechanic/Instrumentation with a Queensland Electrical License.
Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or progress towards one is a plus.

Responsibilities

Hands-on, field-based work with instrumentation.
Diagnose and optimize: examine, troubleshoot and fine-tune interconnected circuit systems to keep operations running.
Master complex control systems: fault-finding in electrical control systems with pneumatic, electronic, microprocessor-based subsystems.
Lead special projects: take charge and collaborate on projects that drive innovation and improvement.
Be a safety champion: actively participate in safety improvement teams.
