Job summary

InfraBuild is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Electrician to join our Rooty Hill Steel Mill team in NSW. You’ll perform maintenance, breakdown repairs, and project installation in a fast-paced, industrial environment with a strong focus on safety and reliability.

This permanent, full-time role operates 4 x 10-hour shifts Monday-Thursday with a possible move to rotating shifts in the future. We provide tools, on-site parking, training and development opportunities, and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Current NSW Electrical Trade qualification or be a 4th year apprentice nearing completion.
• Proven experience in breakdown fault finding, repair and maintenance in manufacturing/heavy industry.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, operational checks, and routine inspections on plant equipment.
• Diagnose faults and repair to minimise downtime.
• Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and projects.
• Monitor plant performance with focus on safety, reliability, and efficiency.
• Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to improve processes.
